Tritex Multigauge 5750-S Data-Logging Ultrasound Gauge for Metals
A comprehensive data-logging ultrasound gauge with GRP option.

The Tritex Multigauge 5750 is a versatile data-logging ultrasonic thickness gauge which comes with a single probe for use on metal. A second probe for GRP may be added at a later date.



The gauge will store up to 895 batches with up to 100 readings in each allowing comprehensive analysis and statistics to be generated.



The single-crystal multiple-echo principle is used on metals to avoid triangulation errors and to provide accurate thickness gauging - all without the need to remove soundly adhering paint coatings.



A second twin-crystal 1 MHz probe is required for gauging GRP and FRP composites. This may be purchased at additional cost.



The measurement range on metals is determined by the probe frequency. Higher frequency probes are better for measuring thin and wasted sections but larger and low frequency probes work better on heavily corroded metals.



The 5750-S gauge comes with a 13 mm (½ inch) 2.25 MHz probe for use on metal only. This is ideal for general purpose use but other probes can be supplied as a no-cost option.



Built in Dorchester, UK, Tritex gauges come with a three year manufacturer's warranty and free annual calibration for the life of the gauge. Some gauge options may be upgraded after purchase. Please enquire for further information.



All Tritex gauges are manufactured to, and comply with, the new standard of manufacturing Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges – BS EN 15317:2013. This standard covers the characterisation and verification of ultrasonic thickness measuring equipment to ensure they meet certain criteria of performance and build quality.
