Sovereign was the first manufacturer to build a viable marine moisture meter back in 1983. Now in its third generation the Sovereign Quantum Marine moisture meter provides shallow and deep moisture readings, and also displays ambient temperature, humidity, dew point and surface temperatures. A series of bright LEDs provides an instant red-amber-green traffic-light display of readings with a numerical readout for recording specific readings. The instrument is housed in a tough Peli® case which is waterproof when fastened closed. Some have claimed that the Sovereign will float if dropped into water but we haven't tested that yet! CE Marking: Please note the Quantum meter is not currently CE or UKCAMarked. This may cause problems with Customs in some European countries. It may be possible to issue a 'CE self-certificate' for individual meters but this will add to lead times.
